Hi guys, thanks for the nice coments, and let's go for some more progress on this:
I decided to go for the car dashboard. The kit machined meters were painted semi gloss black on the backside, and the decals were fixed in place. A few drops of future wax were used to make the lenses over the decals.
The dash itself, assembled from a PE part and a white metal tubular structure. I've sanded the PE part to get rid of the excessive gloss of the polished metal.
And the meters glued in place.
And here is the tubular chassis, after countless hours of of filling, sanding, primer, sanding again, and finaly painting. The kit parts were far from perfect on finishing nor fitting, but after all the fixes, the result is stuning.
Another shot from the chassis.
The engine and gearbox were them assembled to the chassis. Also the gear lever base and fire extinguisher were painted and glued to the chassis.
And another shot from behind.
That's it for now. I hope to have a major upgrade after this weekend.
Thanks for following this.
