I really dislike categorizing people as mentally unbalanced as mentioned at AF. It's very stupid  .

This is an excerpt from a poast on FB from December 13rd, 2023.
I am finally out of hospital and hope I don't have to go back for a very long time.
Please email me at orders@azracingmodels.com to order any of these items.

Hi,

Well… Always been a fan of TVF1 and must admit that I have many parts.
But still waiting parts for more than 15 years! DFV engine, Ferrari set, carbon cutter…
Always nice and full of apologies, difficulties with family and the kids…
Tons of promises, free parts with orders soon delivered (!) and never received…
Hundreds dollars of order never delivered.

I’m extremely disappointed, offended, hurt by such a behavior.

I´m realy sorry for all those who trusted this shop and lost a lot of money, been following these threads for a long time now, maybe as long as your waiting for the ordered to be fullfilled Pascal!

I can understand that you want to share your experiences, everone of those who got screwed up for such a long time now.

I also do not understand that no one took legal actions against him for that long time, maybe someone did, but i never seen it shared with others. For sure, for none US buyers this might be a problem and maybe i don`t understand the legal rights even for the US buyers.

But i also do not want to poor oil into a flaming topic.
The past has prooven that this topic allways shows up, even for half way decades now, so all advise i want to give is: take care of where you place an order, learn from lessons others share and judge on your own if you want an ongoing drama or any other problems that might come up.

By the way, i hope that Mac is officially announcing his contact informations for all those who want to go on with him, i also want to point that a PM here will work too to get in touch with him, he`s not fallen of the planet! :)
Take a stand!

I sent an email to his (Mac) new address about an hour ago. I'm looking for the correct air box to build Peter Revson 1973 Yardley McLaren M23 with Tamiya 1/12 kit.

Frankly he could be brought up on charges of mail fraud - a federal felony. But people are too patient with him and time for legal recourse runs out.

As someone who runs a business I can't imagine running a business like that. I'm not perfect. **** happens, emails get missed. Customers get upset occasionally. But I NEVER hold on to a persons money indefinitely, and a refund is always on the table if I can't correct something to a customer's satisfaction.

But yeah.. this is mail fraud and sadly it's common in our business.

Use your credit cards, use PayPal goods and services - these protect you. If you feel you are getting a runaround demand a refund and if it's not forthcoming contact your credit card company or PayPal. (but please give a merchant a chance to fix things before going this route).

I also don't recommend for paying via 'pre order' for works in development unless it's a VERY established company. If a merchant can't cover the costs of production then they frequently run out before development is finished.

NEVER pay via PayPal friends and family unless it's someone you know you can trust. If someone insists on F&F (even if you offer to pay extra for the paypal fees), RUN. LIKE. HELL.

Also with regards to PayPal - a merchant cannot charge you more for G&S vs F&F. If they try that, report them to PayPal - it is a violation of TOS.
