Good evening everyone,

Thank you so much!

The build continues peacefully, slowly, much more than I would like...

The two front half axles are almost finished, the brake connections are installed and the calipers are just waiting for their bleeding.

The steering bellows will be painted later, the discs patinated to follow.

The front rims are finished, balanced, center polished.
I preferred machined valves to those from the kit.

One of the tires is mounted on the other rim. It is lightly sanded and will be detailed soon.

And here is the wheel shown on its half train.

I was also finally able to complete the rear calipers by fitting them with the missing bleeds.

The engine should cool much better: The braided hoses connect the tank to the oil radiators.
The whole thing will of course be connected to the engine a bit later.

More soon.

You know, Pascal, in order for us to have more to marvel at, we need to keep your flying during summer at a minimum. Sorry, about that ;).
All of that aside it is great to watch another master piece in the making while it is happening. I am grateful for that and for the insights and how tos you provide along the way!
Cheers,
Roman

I bought the 1/20th last month, but just had to get this in 1/12th after seeing your build. It's such a pretty shape and it's so colorful. Good news is that Kyoko just sent the invoice and it's now paid. So MFH is open again. Beautiful work! Could you tell me what size rivets are on the resin body? They look great.

Hi,

First of all, it’s not too late yet, Happy New Year to all of you Mates.
Best wishes for 2024.

Thank you very much for your nice comments.
I’m really glad you enjoy this build… which is on hold for maybe few weeks: Broken wrist.

The rivets are simulated on resin body (engraved).
I will use 0.5, 0.7 and 0.75 resin and metal rivets on this build.
Please find below an example with 0.7 resin and 0.75 metal rivets.

I used ProTech braided lines.
PMTC 24 (2mm) and PMTC 22 (1.1mm).
