Hi everyone,
Mr. Hiro's death is terrible news for all of us modelers.
He represented "the dream" for the 2000s by producing all those kits that each of us wanted! ( and that Tamiya hasn't produced anymore ).
Condolences to all the Hiro family with the hope that the path started by the founder will be continued by the heirs.
Ciao Mr. Hiro

Sad Sad news... RIP my friend. Last time in Tokyo Kyoko had my kit delivered to the hotel instead of me going to Takenotsuka and this trip I had sent an email to deliver the BT46 to the hotel as well however had not heard back. At the time I thought it was still related to C19 but now we know it is much deeper. Condolances to her and all the MFH family and hopefully/selfishly MFH will continue on without Hiro-san but retain his vision with perhaps a different passion

This is a huge loss for our hobby, although I know MFH will go on producing amazing kits. I never got to met Hiro-san but I did work with him briefly through Ernie, helping them develop their two Indy 500 winning kits. It was truly one of the biggest honors of my career just to say I was a part of those kits.
