Shipping to USA from Hobby Search?

Post by f1m »

Hi,

Anyone have a clue about shipping costs from Hobby Search - https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/ - to the US might be? I'm contemplating the Meng MP4/4 and a curious what that might cost shipping wise.

Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric,

If you have an account with Hobby Search, you should be able to check shipping estimate after you login.

In that case I would have picked a kit similar in size and weight (and directly available) and used that as a test. Sounds like it is too late now anyway. Fingers crossed!

Great site / service.

Should be very similar costs to hlj. Japan post standard or ems or DHL. All at cost.

It has been between $40 and $50 for a 1/20 kit. Tack on an oversize charge.

To follow up a bit, I paid $75 for shipping for the Meng 1/12 MP4/4. It took 12 days to get to me.

I also paid $75 to hobbyeasy in HK for the kit, the Mix decal sheet, and the Komakai book. Took about a week with 4 days of that week just for the last 100 miles.
