I hope not. Other than the JPS cars, I don't like black cars to begin with. I was noticing at the Rolex 24 that the BMW LMDH had a lot of bare carbon. But only as an accent - overall the livery was awesome.

I think you'll see it more and more as weight savings. F1 is very weight conscious which has led to the extremely high use of various forms of composites. I remember reading years ago that the Jordan team completely stripped parts that they were repairing of paint to avoid the additional weight associated with multiple coats of paint on unrepaired areas as a result of blending in repaired areas.

We are not the ones seeing black, so something will no doubt be done in the future.
PS: adding color to carbon fibre has the same effect as paint; you are adding paint (pigment) particles.

I like bare carbon, but I certainly hope it doesn't become to the predominant style. Part of the appeal historically (for me, anyways) was that we didn't see too many cars entirely in bare CF outside of testing liveries. If every other car has it, it's no longer very compelling. Colored CF would be cool though!
