Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
Good question?
I only tried with my smartphone and it works for me
Roman found it with Google and i think it also worked for him
Really maybe some kind of geo blocking.
When I click on the link it still works for me.
Sorry!
Edit: just saw that they only deliver inside the EU and to the Swiss.

Yes, the shop delivery goes to germany, austria, swiss and eu-country's only.Noddy wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 9:28 pmChristian is that site perhaps geo-blocking? I tried in 2 browsers, tried just the domain name, tried from desktop and iPad, and even tried direct modellbau page links from Google and all of the attempts produced "forbidden" messages.capri-schorsch wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 4:00 am Here it is

Just saw that they got the McLaren MP4/4 for pre-order also

Shame and maybe a small error on their part. I have several addresses in Germany I can use but not willing to jump through hoops with VPN just to place an order. Off-topic but I think many times shop owners think too much from their side and hardly at all from the customer's perspective. I'm not even convinced that they ever take anyone unfamiliar with the product or site and have them sit down and play with it for half an hour just to get a new customer's feedback. If they did sites like Hiroboy would put far more effort into their Zero Paints section which is HORRIBLE. Scrolling through ~60 pages of paints to find what I'm looking for? LOLOL. Not happening. Not to mention sites that routinely wipe the contents of your cart at the end of "their" business day. What if I had to do some real work in the midst of my hobby browsing? Do you think I'm starting over the next day? Meh, on to the next site. LOL.scaleautofactory wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 2:04 am Yes, the shop delivery goes to germany, austria, swiss and eu-country's only.

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
Wonder why this release is so cheap compared to other models?

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
Ordered and received here: https://www.passion132.com/gb/civilians ... mp42c.html
Just opened the box and nice to see Cartograf decals with the full tobacco sponsor included.
The Italeri instructions Refer to Tamiya paint:
White: Tamiya TS-26 / X-2 (okay)
Flou red: Tamiya TS-49 / X-7 (What?, TS-49 is bright red and X-7 is just 'red'.)
Unless I'm mistaken the MP42Ç ran with full Flou red 3026 and if your going to ref Tamiya paints, surely TS-36 should be called out (although not my choice for Flou red).
Nice to finally get this kit, many decades later.

Guys, are you kiddin? or I suppose it´s an academic or rethorical question.
Sure it´s the old PROTAR model and sure this has something to do about the price. It´s the old concept of re-release or re-box (I feel a bit smart ass as I guess you all know! ) and even if the molds might have been redone (I don´t know if the old ones would be in ood conditions, I´d bet NO) they have not needed design, research, etc.
After all when they re-released the Alfa 179 a few years ago, it was in a similar price fork.
OH btw I bouht mine the cheapest possible. I checked my stock and found out one more than I was able to remember! I think I´ll save buying a new one, even as tempting it is!
Curious: I never bought a brand new Protar MP4/2C... just as happens with my 1:1 cars
ah btw...
The Italeri instructions Refer to Tamiya paint:
Glad you got it at last!!
Always nice to see fellow modelers finding that thing they´d be looking for.

Really!!??? not even split into Marl and boro?
The Italeri instructions Refer to Tamiya paint:
Think the same. 49 is too red and NOT fluo. And yes, 36 is an uncertainty but yes, curiously, they called up the 49 in the Alfa, too, which is also inadequate.
Glad you got it at last!!
