I'm going to start another WIP: Ferrari F1 2000. This kit is since 20 years in my stock. It is one of those poor kits from MG models declared as a super kit by themselves.

Many years ago I started it until painting and decaling the body in order to build the kit as a full detail model. But soon realized that this couldn't get a satisfying result. So I stopped building and the kit went to the attic. Now I start a second attempt for finishing. I'm going to finish the kit as a proportion model.
The making of the parts is simple and partially wrong. So it needs some effort to make an acceptable car. Hope I reach the target now.

Good luck from my side too, still know that even the curbside kits are a challenge, an open version should be a nightmare!
Looking forward to your progress, your last MG models turned out great!

Woo MG kit! I built one years ago as a commissioned build. The result is quite good although it is quite challenging to build.

Hi wilchan,
You made a really nice model, but it's an open car. I failed to close the body , when motor and exhausts are in place. So I choosed the closed version.

The model will represent the Monza version, won by Michael Schumacher.

I removed the colour of the previously painted and partially decaled model by brake fluid. Parts are sanded now, sink marks and the too wide panel lines are puttied.
During the 20 years the resin didn't loose that extreme toxic smell!!! A real worse irritation. Not the only MG kit with this problem. So it's necessary to put many layers of base coat and color.

Diffusor is not totally correct , but I will not modify it.

The kit includes a front wing with a straight front line. The Monza version had a delta front line that was modified.
