Jaguar D Type Question

Post by PJE »

I’m collecting parts and research to replicate the Border Reivers Jaguar Type D campaigned during the 1958 season by Jim Clark. I’m going to use the old Lindburg Type D and the Revell XK-SS kits.
If I have to, I’ll create the decals, but I thought I’d ask the question of anyone replicating this car in 1/24 scale. Anyone know of any decals out there?

My first thought was lemansdecals.com.
They have decalsheets for various versions of Jaguar sportscars from the 1950's and 60's, also including a non Le Mans version:

https://www.lemansdecals.com/tienda/en/ ... it_search=

If you have a few more pictures you might ask them if they could do the Border Reivers version.
