1/20 MPC McLaren M8D
Hi Guys.
This has been a project which I began around 1993.
It is the original MPC release. Horrible orange plastic and sprues of chrome plate.
It has been on and off the bench for all of these years, but now it is off for good
Tamiya TS56 Orange
Alclad, Bare Metal Foil
Radius rods and various bracing replaced with Evergreen rod
Scratchbuilt wire gear linkage
Turned aluminium stacks, oil tank and fuel fillers (not seen)
Kit shocks replaced with scratchbuilt ones using real springs
Aluminium exhaust
Plug leads and fuel lines added
Scale Motorsport harness hardware, ribbon for belts
Cheers.
Tim

Hi Tim,
It is a beautiful build. The paint job is great! The added wires, seat belts, etc make the model look very real.
Nice effort to get it completed.
