Here in France it's sold by Altaya (same as DeAgostini) , it started in august, I'm pretty happy with the models, they are nicely made.

BTW, who manufactured these ? Kyosho like the 1/8 MP4/4 DeAgostini ?

Ixo, it seems.
Btw I start wondering if they should consider paying a little salary to Tommy.

Maybe as I have been telling people on several websites about Hachette/IXO since 2009 when they started the Alfa Romeo 1/24th collection. F1 1/24th was a surprise but it makes sense as they do all types of cars in 1/24th scale. The only series I did not like was the Ferrari 1/24th road car series as Hachette had Bburago make most of them. They are not half as nice as the Ixo models.

More information. They have confirmed the Ferrari 1/24th F1 collection starting in December 2022!!! This is the second series of F1 in 1/24th offered by Hachette IXO. I expect to see IXO also release some of these under their new 1/24th F1 line. Can't wait for the 1/24th Lemans winner collection and Ferrari sports race car series to start also. They are duplicating the 1/43rd series of models in 1/24th scale.

Update on the two 1/24th scale Hachette IXO Italian newstand F1 series of models. They launched the Ferrari F1 1/24th series in Italy in early January 2023 and the second model should be out next week.

We are at number 49 in the 1/24th le grandi 1/24th F1 series with number 50, the Alfa Romeo 177 1979 model due out next week. This series will go to 80 1/24th F1 models. The newstand series

is also available in Japan, and they have already announced 80 models. Below are the update lists of models for Italy. They seem to update them 2 to 3 weeks before the next model is due with

a photo of the model. Still waiting for an update on the Ferrari F1 model list past number 15. Should be a great list of Ferrari's!! Forgot to mention they are also releasing the same models in

France, and that collection was the last to start. We could see more countries start this newstand 1/24th F1 series, mainly in Europe I would suspect. Could England be next??

I am hoping another one of the decal makers starts doing other decals versions for the Hachette IXO 1/24th models. I know Pattos Place and Indycals decals make several decals available in 1/24th scale that can be used on these models. Thank you to both of those companies.

Wow is this latest Hachette 1/24 F1 Alfa 177 nice!! Not my favorite Alfa F1 version, I like the 179 alot better but they really put alot of detail in this model. Maybe the best yet? Even the rollbar has the welds on it!!

We have about 15 top contenders now.

The top 10 IMO best Hachette F1 1/24th models so far.... These are all as good or better than any curbside plastic kits I have seen. Look at the crisp details. And those lucky collectors in Italy pay 30 Euro with no tax from the newstand!!

Lotus 79 1978
Brabhan BT46B
Alfa 177
Tyrrell 005
Lotus 72
Braun 2009
Williams FW08
Brabham BT52B
Hesketh 308B
Ferrari 312 1976

I see a trend that maybe Hachette likes 1970's and 1980's cars best.

For the three IXO 1/24th F1 and Rally models you can get them from several IXO dealers in the US. For the Hachette/IXO newstand models there are alot of vendors in Europe but none that I know of in the USA. Ebay Italy and France is the best way for new releases. The shipping is pretty high but I get 4 shipped together from my friend in Italy wich cuts the cost. They are not heavy but you should also ask for the magazine with each car. Alot of rare color reference pictures in the magazine. By the way, the magazine is why they are able to sell these on Italian newstands tax free :)

Hachette IXO Italy 1/24th Le grande just released the Williams FW07 1980 and Ferrari 156-85 and will release the BT45B Alfa Romeo in a few weeks. We are up to number 52 of 80 cars. The last 20 cars have not been announced yet but they will happen.

The 1/24th Hachette IXO Italy Ferrari collection is up to number 5 this week of 60 releases. They just announced 3 more cars in the series.

Number 16 1956 Ferrari D50
Number 17 1970 Ferrari 312B
Number 18 1995 Ferrari 412 T2

By the way, the 1989 Ferrari is the low scoop version. Number 6 Ferrari F1-89 - Nigel Mansell - 1989 14/03/2023 low scoop.
