Hi Thomas,
Very nice looking wheels!
It is interesting that from the photos that you found, the side wall and the tread look satin while the shoulder is actually very shinny.

Thanks to all guys first.
There are such and such pictures and they always look different.

Yes, I think the tires are a separate chapter and I think you can do all of them right and wrong...

Hi Thomas, given there´s not a W12 thread, I´ll ask here.
You that must have become an expert on the Merc so you could draw it with a band on your eyes and writing with a foot (the bad one of course!)
What are the main differences between W11 and W12???
Are they reasonably close to one another?
Thanks
JAmes

It's not easy to capture everything at once.JamesB wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 12:19 pm Hi Thomas, given there´s not a W12 thread, I´ll ask here.![]()

But in the end there are quite a few things that are different.
Also due to the adjusted regulations, adjustments had to be made, e.g. to the underbody/floors.
But it is the many details that bring some differences to light. Engine Cover, Nose, Underbody, Suspensions, Wings (front and rear), Badge Boards,...
But if you're interested, the most serious changes at the beginning of the season are always the topic of conversation here on the first pages.
And as always, adjustments are made from race to race. I would think that the 2020/2021 seasons were the seasons with the most changes between the races.
