It's nice that you're going on. I've been on hiatus since last July. I didn't have the strength to continue at this high level. He's not back in the box yet as I hope to get pleasure again soon. Most of the chassis is done. Only a few cables are missing, the engine cover with wings and the hydraulic suspension. It is often the little things that hold you back and are put on the back burner. Had actually counted on a construction time of one year. What did you use from the ThundervalleyF1 components. So far I have only installed a few PE parts.

The set I got from ThunderValley, had heads, exhaust pipes, rad's, some piping, engine bottom, calipers, photo etch etc. The brake kit had the front rotors, but no rear rotors. Despite all the promises, i never got them.Good stuff, unfortunately he didn't know how to run a manufacturing business.

Partway through the Top Studio Front Bulkheadand Suspension kit. I couldn't get the hoses connecting the reservoirs to bend properly. I ended up stripping and sliding a piece of solid wire from the Cockpit kit inside the tubilng. That allowed me to get somewhat of a bend and get it to work. I'll finish putting the shocks together, then it's on to the Thunder Valley F1 front brakes. :D Slowly making progress, but that's better than no progress at all.

I had shoulder surgery 10 days ago and I'm not supposed to be doing this. Before I went through that I did make some progress. Got the shock tops done and before I could go further with the Top Studio Dampers Kit, I had to make some progress with the body. so VIOLA!!!! I get to spend the rest of the summer on the deck at the lake telling the girlfriend that one of the lines from the lawn mower is crooked and to stop running over the rocks. I'm thinking it should go well... or not. Have a good summer and once I get some mobility back, I'll move on this some more.

Learning how to do ordinary things left-handed is a pain in the a**. Fortunately I learned how to hold my beer left-handed years ago. ;)

Wishing you a full and speedy recovery from the crooked lawn mower lines and flying rocks  :D :D

Nice work. The paintwork looks clean, you did a good job. Hope you recover soon so that this great construction report can continue. One more? Do you put carbon decals on the shot wall where the brake cylinders are attached?

No, I like to leave some of the metal work as is. It shows what I've added. It's just one of my quirks. :D
