Why's that? I used the Hasegawa too for the #55 car and found it easy to build. Experienced no problems.
But what counts most is the fact that you persevered and did a brilliant job!

Not necessary so. Mario's 79-1 and 79-4 I've only seen pictures of the cars with six-spoke front wheels in Canada while Jarier used both four and six spoked wheels. So both types were present in Canada.
It will be interesting to see if the Hasegawa front wheel will fit the Tamiya kit.

PS : You might want to give the left rear tire a gentle push towards the outside. The rim is off a mm or so.

You are right Orso, I thought it was one type of rim that was used for the early 78, and the other for the late 78, my mistake.
