This situation seems very strange to me. If I'm passionate about some car I will build a model of it,
regardless of the fact others built model(s) of the same car. Don't see any connection. I also don't think
anybody on this site ever compares models of same (or different) cars, built by different (or same) people.

BMW, if you like 126CK and want to build it, just go ahead and do it. Fact that someone else built it or
is building it, shouldn't matter. Same goes for you Starr, just go ahead and build one. It's a hobby, not a
sport or competition. I'm sure all members would be happy to see more models been built, regardless.

I will backtrack, apologise, and will find something else to build!

I have something more ambitious (but rubbish) in mind!
Hi BMW,

I accept your apology :D but I don't see the need for them

Please, take my offer and build the 126CK, go for it :D

Best regards,

Starr

I agree with you Lezdep and I mentioned it a few posts back. I heartily wish that he take over the task of build the 126CK. This kit wasn't my first option anyways :D

It is more important for me that more people participate of the GBs and even more important, that everybody have fun in doing so. :D

Best regards,

Starr

Hello everybody,

I hope you didn't give up to this group build. I didn't, I just didn't have much time to work on this and I had to find a new photo host in the meantime.

But now I am back on this project and soon I will be posting some photos of my progress so far.

Thanks for your patience.

Cheers,

Starr

Here we go,

I painted all the metallic colors with the Alclad II system: the basecoat is Alclad black. I used mostly polished Aluminum but also white aluminum, stainless steel, chrome and pale gold. I weathered the exhaust using Alclad II hotmetal sepia, red and blue. I also used their clear blue on the windshield.

The seat is airbrushed with Tamiya desert yellow. The red is Tamiya Italian red, also airbrushed. Everything were topped the Model Master lacquer clear: gloss, semi gloss and lusterless.

More on the next few days.

Hi all,

It's time for another update!

The engine is almost done, I won't add any wiring and plumbing this time around, I just want a nice self model:

The cockpit is getting there as well, unfortunately, I lost a little part to the carpet monster, it's a lever that's supposed to go on the left side of the cockpit. Oh well! Sorry, the photo isn't good.

Till next update, thanks for looking!
