Re: Mark Webber to race for Porsche in 2014
Porsche have denied signing Webber but haven't said they wouldn't. They'll probably use some of their current drivers like Lotterer for initial testing and racing.
I also doubt Mark will return to Australia, he has too many business interests in the UK.

Sébastien Buemi must have had a trouser filling moment hearing this news Can't see how Red Bull will resolve the radio call with two Sébastiens though.... "Sébastien Multi 21 Multi21"....Shunter wrote:It was just announced on local Melbourne news that Webber has indeed quite F1 and will head the Porsche assult in 2014 in Endurance racing.....

I would love to see Alonso go to Red bull, Mark and lewis go to Ferrari and get some proper racing and competitive racing going. I was talking to a mate other day and the comment came up about pirelli changing their tyres back to the old guns so that we could see some more quality less tactical racing out and out racing happening for f1 and with the imminent release of the new turbo engines next season would throw a cat amoungst the pigeons?? Maybe! just a thought possibly.

Good to see some movement happening!!
Having read that Force India won't resist loosing Paul Di Resta for 2014 my guess is he would have to be one of the hot contenders - wouldn't mind seeing it happen either. This will also come down to Helmut Marko's performance assessment on the current junior drivers of Daniel Ricciardo & Jean-Eric Vergne - are they seen to be good enough to progress to the pointy end and win some races?
