Auction just ended. Someone sniped at the last second, for 12,500 JPY. Glad that I got out because that was NUTS!!!!

That is more than I paid but it's still under $100 for a hard to find kit. The funny thing is that I have seen more 1/20 Hiro kits going for less than the Aoshimas. It's a mixed up world.
Some nuts asked for 35,000 JPY for the same kit WITHOUT the extra 'photoetching parts' in the later posts on the same Yahoo! Japan auction. So I know exactly where you are coming from .....

Oh wee, the Type C just arrived and the box is about half the height of the regular 1/12 MFH kits - length and width of the box are the same.
Cheers,

Helped a retiring modeler by taking 3 1/12 Tamiya bikes (still looking to replace my Fiat Yamaha '08 for $25...lol), the 2019 Toyota LM car and Sullivan's Miller Penske off his hands for cheap... He helped me by donating a bunch (a bunch) of Tamiya X, XF and Laquer paints plus some odds and ends of Zero paints..). Donating the Toyota and one of the bikes to a friend and his son. The son is a magician with these kits.

I bought 4 kits in the past 3 months.

First is the Aoshima/Beemax 1/20 BT52 (Monaco) kit.

I bought it in a local shop at 60 Cdn. It is an unopen kit and I think it is a reasonable price. I am using it as my base for my 1/24 project. I always like this car. So I will sale this kit once I complete my 1/24 version.

The second kit is the very old Gunze kit of the Messerschmitt KR200 micro car. I get the Lupin version that includes 3 figures. I bought this kit from Japan at 3000 yan.

The last 2 kits I bought are cheap kits from Bandai. I was surprise to find them in the local shop at 12 Cdn each. The model is about 10 cm long only. They bring back memories of my kid days.

Just flew in from Japan. Planning on building this curbside, anyone have any tips on this kit?
