I hate that Getty Images took over Motorsports Images. Now my search results get me pictures of Malcolm Mclaren from 1988 as well as Mclarens.
Thx! That’s the first photo I’ve seen where you get a good view of the rear wing. It doesn’t look like the chevrons are on the top element as on Senna’s wing. Tamiya instruction show them on there. 🤔

The image where Senna has no Chevrons on the rear wing has been manipulated. Look closely and the Chevron on his helmet is also just a white square so that, along with the rear wing, have been altered.
He did race with Chevrons on. Prost didn't.
