ER... FANCY AN EDDIE JORDAN TRIBUTE GB?

Post by JamesB »

Well, that's it. I'd have liked to introduce it with some typical Irish expression or Eddie's quote, but my knowledge is limited (I learnt a bit of scottish and cockney accent when I was in the UK; but that´s all and it does not apply  ) .
But anyway, what if we take a good serving of Irish coffee and pay tribute to great Eddie by building some of his creatures?
I mean, just an unofficial Group Build, not sure if with any rules, but just encourage ourselves to build some of them Jordans?
I know I am not a usual finisher, but dammit! let´s go.

Since I am right now making the decals for it, I´ll try to enter with a good, sponsor saturated rendering of the J194.
OK, any one more? 8)

I’ve got a Jordan Reynard 89D, it was started when I bought it but I need some encouragement to actually get on and complete a build for the first time in about 10 years. So I’m in.

Great idea. I'll be super delayed because of everything else going in my life, but either finishing the 191, a MP4/13 to 199, or a Revell EJ10.

I have built 3 versions of the 191. I will build a fourth, the Japan GP of Alex Zanardi with the Pepsi livery. I would like to show pictures of the 3 versions that I have already made, but the pictures will surely be upside down, or rotated out of position.

No worries Bill: post them if you wish. If necessary we'll turn them around. I am much better at capsizing pics than at finishing models 😉
BTW. I think it'd be fine to add already built models if posible with some "recorded" WIP?
Stu, the 199 looks a great Idea.
Christian, I have an 89D also at 1/43 which I got already built and whose mustard yellow does not convince me,so...
Jeff, what about one of those fluo yellows?
BTW, again on the 197, It's one I rarely saw built st 1/20. As I have a pair of bodies thanks to the Lindes of one F1,m member, I really wanna honor It. 8)
