Video - Australian Model Expo 2024
G'day everyone! I've just uploaded my review video from the 2024 Australian Model Expo that was held at Sandown Raceway on the weekend. It's not an F1 or even car model show, but a showcase of all sorts of scale models, including a number of F1 pieces - thus this post. Enjoy it on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6K0ZFDZHzdM

Thanks for putting this together. Always interesting to see shows from around the world and this gives a great flavour.
The Minardi M193 is superb! Can you tell us a bit more about it?

I’m green of envy!!!

Different categories of cars!!!

Long ago I promised a fellow member, Jeff, to send one car (a Jonesy one) to compete from the antipodes.
Maybe next year!

Yes, that Minardi was a great build. I always love the lesser known and backmarker teams and cars. I don't know much about the model other than it's an Auto Modeler's Cafe (AMC) kit in 1:20 scale and was entered in the Kerbside category (ie, no engine detail). I assume it's a resin kit??

Re: Video - Australian Model Expo 2024
Cheers for the video Wixy!
What that made me realize is that I have a fair few (unbuilt) kits of the models shown there. That triggered a bit of a guilty "umm" moment, but I'm glad to report it has since passed
