In the current era, drivers no longer develop cars: they can't test. The team is responsible to give the driver the best car and service, and if the driver is an ace of the profession, chances are open for victories and championships. So the ball is now with Ferrari to kick to the goal or not.

With the current evolving standards of fitness and driving technology, I think guys like Hamilton, Alonso, Verstappen, Leclerc, Scott Dixon can be driving open wheelers competitively way past their fifties. It all depends on whether they are still really committed to it or not. Carlos Sainz Sr. winning a Dakar in his sixties is a sign of that. It's cruel for the new generations, but it is also very inspirational to them.

From the point of view of our hobby, I think now there's a slighty better chance to have a new Tamiya F1 Ferrari kit in 2026 or later...

It`s funy how the response to useless drivers is, Driver 50% for success, team also 50%. If you don`t have a driver that can even bring the 50%, the team is responsible for missing success. Just crazy with all of those drivers...
