MP/4 & Lotus 99T - Fat Frog Products

Post by SBEST »

Hello, can someone tell/share whether the upgrades by Fat Frog for the radiators and brakes are a good addition to the kits.

Right now, I am on the fence about purchasing them.

Regards,

Steve

I have the radiator set for the 99T. Very nice detail, and great for a 3D printed set. I also have the Beemax detail set, and I think the Fat Frog resin radiators will look better than the photoetch radiator faces in that set.
Could prove a challenge to paint them without clogging up any of the fins.

Thank you for posting that Eric

If I can get my hands on them, the brakes and especially calipers for MP4/4 would be a very nice addition, the radiators I think I will stick with kit parts

Almost done painting everything

I have the radiator set and I used some Mr.Metal aluminue 218 and they came out real nice. The "grids" stand out nice and sharp and there is no need to add any accent color at all.
Be sure to mark proper location spot for N 5 replacement as there are no location tabs.
This is in reference to the MP4/4
