Does anyone have any experience with a model company called APM? They make a 599XX kit that looks really nice but I'm not sure of the quality or where to get it?
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: APM Models
APM = autoplacemodels
I sold a bunch of their models, but i don't think they still exist. Maybe gone for 10+ years.
They had a website: autoplacemodel.com, but it is no longer active and i have no stock left.
The 599XX was a nice kit, but pretty basic in parts, pretty detailed in PE.

Re: APM Models
I have their Murcielago transkit to do a GT version, not complete, but nicely done.
As far as i remember Autoplacemodel was a cooperation from some modelers, but as Wim said, long out of buisness. They made also 1:12 Mclaren F1 GTR kits, curbside but realy nice and an F50 GT in 1:12.
They used a 1:12 Minichamps street Mclaren and converted it, made molds and casted everything.
Realy hard to find anything from them these days!

Re: APM Models
They also did great kits of the 458 GT2 and F50 GT in 1/24th scale along with a not so good 1/12th Ferrari 250 Breadvan transkit.

Re: APM Models
Some nice 1/18s which was their core business sold as built ups, got my hands on a 458 road car, and a couple of 360 JGTC’s
they build easily, mostly resin including the tires and everything keys together for easy assembly

Re: APM Models
I believe Hobby design did a transkit of the 599XX to use with the Revell Germany kit, the rear end detail and diffuser was amazing
