Meng Driver figure almost 50% cost of full detailed 1/12 MP4/4 Meng Kit!

Is the Car price going to leap very high at release?
I agree that the driver being priced where it (apparently) is seems very expensive but do remember that you can't really compare the cost of plastic parts with resin which (I'm guessing) they are printing in much smaller volume than the plastic kit parts. The raw resin is expensive and the time investment per piece is much higher.

Is there any significance in the fact that I can't find the supposedly forthcoming Beemax 1/12 MP4/4 on any of the big 3 Japanese / HK sites for pre-order? Am I missing something or is Spotmodel really the only one who thinks this is happening?

I don't think so, they're usually one of the earlier ones to get pre-orders out.

Meng also plans to release a driver figure - especially for the MP4/4

Sitting in a sidewalk cafe on the shores of Lake Geneva sipping a coffee?
Seriously 'though - if they are testing the waters with resin figures which one do you think they should do first? 8)

I hope they start thinking of re releasing some 1:20 kits too, and i mean not only the Mclaren cars! My focus is laying on the early 90 years, still hope they are going that way too.
Take a stand!
