Who will win the 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix?

Post by f1m »

Its the second race of the year and folks are already calling the season for Max and Red Bull.

I hope it won't be that dull...

I wouldn't say the first race was boring.
There were a lot of interesting duels.
Even if maybe not directly for the lead, but I think it will be interesting again this weekend.

A changed route and changed DRS measuring points will require an adapted driving style.
I think and hope we will see exciting duels for places again, even if I bet on a winner with the red bull again.
Greetings Thomas

Better question: will the drivers be allowed to LEAVE Saudi Arabia if they do something the regime decides it doesn't like?
Je ne regrette rien.

Another boring race if the Red Bulls are up by at least 0.5 sec per lap or more in Q3. Then probably half the field would be lapped once or twice in the race. The end.

If Max is first or second.... then the season, at least the first half will be a procession.... It is a long season.

I think the last time I saw a team Principal that sullen after a 1-2 victory would have been Frank Williams in Brazil, 1981. Dude! Cheer the F up, you won.

No problem my friend: dollars or euros in huge amounts soften dictatorships conditions.
I can tell because I’ve experienced it

Yeah, even when Max had the driveshaft problem in Q2. I knew that would be RBR 1-2, just a different order. Plus the so-called problems with both cars late in the race, that was probably a ploy. And it was with Max bagged the fastest lap right at the end. Go figure.

It's all over after the first race and it's going to be a very very dull season (my thoughts anyway).
Thought cemented yesterday with Max complaining in the remaining laps that something bothering him with regards to the car and yet blasted in the fastest lap at the end, shows what pace RB has in reserve.. :?
