Hello all,
I have another quick one pls: was the floor on Williams FW10 made of carbon fiber or metal?
FW11 was CF, that I'm pretty sure of, but I remember Williams being quite slow in CF adoption...

can’t be 100% certain, but looks like carbon.

CF 100% sure.
It was the time where it was used in really raw form. Fw10’s was a flat plate without even shaped, curves edges. Which btw also happened with, for instance, Ferrari ‘s 156/85.
And yes Williams was reluctant to use CF “until we have our own autoclave “ they said in 1984. But Fw10 was basically all cf and kevlar Aluminum honey comb was already a thing of th past
