Forsythe Reynard Mercedes, Revell, 1/25

Post by MarcoSaupe »

Hi

I got another one finished, again one of the old Revell Champcar kits, and I decided to build it in the Greg Moore version.
I've built the kit a few times, with the usual issues ;) Indycals offers the right decals for the Forsythe version, thouhg if I may make a suggestion, it would be good to add the white areas on top of the sidepods a second time on the sheet, as there is a difference to the painted white on the engine cover.
Painted with decanted TS-23 and Mr. Super Clear on top, the only added details were better seatbelts.

Hope you like it.

Amazing build. Thanks for sharing and yes, red gloves rule. We can only imagine what Greg could have achieved.

Really nice build. Great touch with the red driving gloves. It would have been very interring to see where his career would have taken him.

Hi Marco,

Another beautifully done race car model!

Greg was a fine racer that left us too early.

I watched the Race live from Eurosport of that horrible Accident where G. Moore lost his life. He had suffetred a Hand injury the Day before Race. Sadly It was the Day certain Mika H. won his 2nd Championship at Suzuka ( if I remember correctly that is  ) . Oh! Good Job on the Kit.
