Re: 1/6 Porsche 917 Engine Full Detail
many thanks
on the pic below you'll see what I mean with "full detail". The 1:6 version will get all internal parts. It's basically the real engine in all details just scaled down.

Re: 1/6 Porsche 917 Engine Full Detail
after countless hours in my workshop, I could finally finish the production of a very limited number of the 1:8 kits. The lucky enthusiasts will be rewarded with 1.800 parts and hopefully with a lot of fun when building this ultimate kit.

Impressive work. That would be a nice Christmas present to put under the tree yourself.

Where can I get this and how much? But it’s my guess it’s already sold out? Beautiful work. Amazing.

Re: 1/6 Porsche 917 Engine Full Detail
Hello everyone and thank you for nice comments !
The first small batch of 1:8 kits is sold out indeed. However, if there is sufficient demand, there might be a second batch of 1:8 versions potentially available in early 2024.
What's currently in the production phase is a very small batch of 1:6 kits, which will be available in early summer 2023. 2/3 of this "single digit" batch are already firmly assigned. In case of interest you may PM me.
The building instructions for the kits will provide a lot of detailed CAD renderings from which I've produced a large format/high res poster (8268x5906 pixel, 300dpi). The engine is presented from all sides and can be used as reference for e.g. detailing/improving the IXO engine or MFH 1:12 917 kit engines or just being printed in the standard 70x50 cm poster size and hang it on the wall.
Buyers of the kits will get this poster digitally as bonus. For a small handling fee of 5 Euro, I'll make it also available digitally to members of this forum. In case of interest, just PM me.
Best regards and have a nice Christmas,
Uli
