Both of them have too big wheels (rims) though, they should be one millimetre smaller in diameter, but I think you will not notice. It's more the width. Particularly, if you remove the raised lettering.

What about the 1/12 Tamiya kit? Are the tires and wheels reasonably accurate?

IIRC, it was in the Tamiya catalog for 17 continuous years, then reissued repeatedly. Surely an all time great!
