Fujimi Ferrari F187 Berger Japan 1/20
Just finished up the Fujimi Ferrari F187 Japan 1987 GP Berger 1/20 scale. For the most part this is a nice kit. Lots of detail. Parts fit pretty good. The rear wing was very difficult for me to put together, maybe because I had to add CF and a probably more layers of finish than was intended. Also the rear cowl didn't fit very well in the end, took some delicate massaging to get it to look right. The tires were also strange, kind of sticky, like they were slightly melted and proved difficult to sand. When finished though I think it looks pretty good and I like it.
Paints I used were ,
Tamiya fine pink primer
Tamiya Lacquer Paint LP-21Italian Red
Mr Color UV Cut GX Super Clear GX112
Tamiya Acrylics for the rest
Decals are from Tabu
Carbon is from Scale Motorsport
Seat belts are from Studio 27 mixed with Tamiya Photo Etch
Hope you like it.

Nice job! Congrats. I still need to venture into 1/20 scale; all those small parts are intimidating!

That is a very nice build.
I like your engine and the seatbelts, both of which are very realistic.
And a lovely paint finish too.

Excellent work and clean finish, especially the carbon work in the engine bay! I just would suggest to add a few more cables there, that would make it absolutely perfect.

Very nice, you look to have achieved good engine cover fit too. Not always easy. Very impressive work.

I have thought about adding cables but I always display my models with the engine cover on and the added details makes me worry about the engine cover fitting properly. Appreciateyour feedback though. You always add the right amount of hardware and cables to your builds.MarcoSaupe wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 2:40 pm Excellent work and clean finish, especially the carbon work in the engine bay! Sometime soon I will build a car with a full detail engine bay and display it that way.

Nice build!
What exactly do you use for a tire stencil? Even if it's not correct on the shoe, I think it's great!
