Veľmi pôsobivé a mnohé z jeho stavieb sú tie, ktoré by som sám rád urobil, obzvlášť McLaren M19 a Tyrrells 003 a 006!

I have the 1/12 Tamiya kit. I bought it as a used kit years ago for about 30 Cdn. Since its dimensions are in question, I check it against this drawing that I believe is from Lotus.
A: 1/12 - 220 mm; model - 226 mm
B: 1/12 - 135.5 mm; model - 137 mm
C: 1/12 - 46 mm; model - 50 mm
D: 1/12 - 55.5 mm; model - 54 mm
E: 1/12 - 58 mm; model - 56.5 mm
F: 1/12 - 56.5 mm; model - 59 mm
CAM cover width - 17 mm; Model CAM cover - 22 mm
Left to right CAM cover offset - 1.67 mm; Model - 0 mm
Front tire
diameter - 52 mm; Model - 51 mm
width - 21 mm; Model - 21 mm
tread - 16 mm; Model - 19 mm
Rear tire
diameter - 57 mm; Model - 54.5 mm
width - 31 mm; Model - 31.5 mm
tread - 25.5 mm; Model - 27.5 mm
Rim outer diameter - 35 mm; Model - 33.5 mm
So, the model is not that accurate but not very bad except the engine. The engine makes the wheelbase way too long. The tire tread pattern of the rear tire is not correct for the first win, 1967 Dutch GP.
Here are the dimensions that I measured. I round up the measurement to 0.5 mmA: 1/12 - 220 mm; model - 226 mm
B: 1/12 - 135.5 mm; model - 137 mm
C: 1/12 - 46 mm; model - 50 mm
D: 1/12 - 55.5 mm; model - 54 mm
E: 1/12 - 58 mm; model - 56.5 mm
F: 1/12 - 56.5 mm; model - 59 mm

IT seems then that the model in general is ever so slightly oversized as well as the propotions being out on the DFV an gearbox. Interesting stuff.

Yes, Stephen Miller ("smbrm1" on this board) is the creator of those excellent references. I purchased his DFV and Chevrolet V8 profiles. They do not provide dimensional info, but as Stephen says on his "Publications" page, they "...are designed to assist modellers in understanding race engine components and systems and how to accomplish more realistic plumbing and wiring". If you are interested in adding this type of detailing beyond what the kits provide, these profiles can be from very helpful to invaluable, depending on the modeler. Considering they are priced at just $1US dollar per page, I personally think they were definitely worth the price for the quality of the info provided.
