Did MFH not say a while back that there would be no more Ferraris for now due to the licensing issues ... same as Tamiya?

I agree about an iteration. My bet is for 1978 T2 Brazil43rdMichael wrote: ↑Sat Jul 10, 2021 9:01 am I’m guessing it will be an iteration. Their design and manufacture cycle seems too long to be able to start a model now for next month. A T3 is possible, but a T2 variation would be most likely (i think...).

Wouldn't Hiro only have to print up a new set of decals to change their Lotus 79 into a Lotus 79B? Seems easy and quick on such short notice.

Re: MFH kit for August 2021
There were several subtle differences between the 1978 and 1979 incarnation of the the Lotus 79. Also Carlos never won a race with Lotus. My money is on a 1978 Brazilian GP 312T2. The Ferrari’s that raced in South America at the start of 1978 were essentially the same cars that finished in North America at the end of 1977. The only change was the switch from Goodyear to Michelin rubber.

MFH do some wonderful Group B cars, so how about the 205T16?

Re: MFH kit for August 2021
I have got 1/12 MFH T2 77 and it has Reutemann decals. MFH has that one covered.
I will be disappointed with a T3 but I would understand if they release that. I bought the Protar kit and put in a Tamiya engine/tyres - at great expense! I imagine other keen modellers will have done that but still it is much less accurate than MFH and it is a lovely looking car in my opinion so might appeal to many. It also has a Villeneuve connection.
I just wonder about 1/12 FW07? Double F1 Championship winner that has never been kitted. Jones and Rosberg FW08 cars would be similar under the surface so they could do a couple of releases without too much re-tooling. Reutemann won in it too.
Would sell well too I would imagine as they are lovely looking cars. Licensing surely would not be too expensive either. MFH have at least 1 guaranteed purchase if they do it.
I would be surprised if that Jag or the Aston sell that well so maybe time to something a little cheaper with global appeal??
PS BT45 would be great but never won a race so would it sell??

Re: MFH kit for August 2021
Has he given up on us guessing the kit or have we given up? I don't see any update regarding it on the MFH page. Seems there may yet be another 1/9 motorcycle in the making - that didn't trigger a response here, I think. Maybe he is sulking
Cheers,
Roman

I'm excited about the motorcycle seeing as it's a Ducati.
I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.
