Looks spot on, good job!
How will you fix the rim issue? Do you know that the wheels are not scale?
I have this kit too in my stash, are there any replacement decals around?
Take a stand!

Nice work Hein!
The paintwork looks really great, the masking was certainly not an easy task - you definitely have my appreciation!

I think there are some decals from Museum Collection - no. MCLDC-526

The rear tires are too big in diameter and the front tires are too wide. Not much, but you can see it.

I know.. i opened up the spokes to give it a little more realistic apperance,. As for the tyres i will try to sand them a little bit more to scale.. and i keep my eyes open for a cheap Tamiya F310b to use as a wheel donor.
Btw: non of the decals include the GY tyre logo's so i will use a spray template for this one i guess.

Did you use the kit decals or did you use aftermarket ones? I remember the kit supplied decals when I made mine where trash. Would not adhere, broke up etc. Ruined my build. You look to have made a lovely job with yours. The masking of the livery is very nice, big appreciation of your technique.

Yes right, the Y-spokes are closed and out of scale, on top the tyre fitting issue.
You can also use the correction wheels from GF-models, they look way better.
Take a stand!

Hmmm... is it possible that tyres differ between batches of this kit_  My tyres are 31mm diameter both, which looks quite spot-on for me. Widths at 14 and 18 also look fine. :) What are yours, guys?
