That would be a super dream. I love those Matras.ronnie1972 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 7:32 pm If we're looking at a 12 cylinder engine, this totally wishful thinking, but that green bares a resemblance to the green trim on both the '72 LM winning Matra 670, and the 1973 winning 670B. I can dream...

Yes and the Matra 670 1972 LM winner did have green identification markings and Graham Hill drove so green and green.

Re: 1/12 MFH May 2021 news
Doesn't really look like a Porsche frame from the 908/917 family. So what else could that be? I think we're looking at the frame from beneath the car - not sure if seen from the front and driver side or from behind and left side. Seeing the amount of tubes I thought Maser birdcage . And since I don't have any real frame shots of the 512S/M I can't comment on those either. Matra neither?
Cheers,

Aston Martin DBR1?? I think Hiro is cheating again with the clues.
Re: 1/12 MFH May 2021 news
I built the Matra full scratch in this scale and this chassis does not resemble 670 at all. It has a chassis mainly made of aluminum. Only if it was a front (rear) frame, it was tubular. Still, I don't think this is the Matra 670

Good call. But I think not. But the chassis is very close. The center section seems identical, the outer bits do not fit, especially where the diagonals connecting the outside frame to the mainframe.

Maybe some other Shelby car.
