1/20 McLaren MP4/8 Late Season

Work continues on the McLaren. Here is the engine about 95% done.



These carbon decals are horrible! They do not conform, they just shatter and the shapes are al off and need serious trimming. I must say I am rather disappointed with them .

Here is the seat/driver's compartment. The seat is painted XF-85 rubber black, I think it captures the Alcantara perfectly.



Bodywork painted. I airbrushed TS-26 Pure White and TS-36 Fluorescent Orage. Much to my surprise it only took one coat of orange and it looks phenomenal.

You are doing areally good job of this, which carbon decals are you using?

I dont think the kit comes with any carbon?
