Lancia Delta S4, BeeMax, 1:24
Hi
it's been a while but I managed to finish another one - and since a year without building a Martini-Racing car is not worth it, I finished it just in time: the BeeMax Delta S4.
It's a nicely detailed kit, the addon set with etched parts and carbon decals is worth the price. All the decals are excellent, some of the best I ever worked with. The fit is ok as well, just the quality of the injection seems to be a bit off, lots of flash and the clear plastic is very hard and brittle, so careful when removing the windows from the sprue. But nevertheless you can build a nice model out if it with some effort.
As mentioned, I used the addon parts set, the usual extra wiring, the usual little details (for a full detail build look to JesusM's thread, that's how it's done properly ). I also used the first part I made with my new Elegoo Mars: the battery at the front (I'm really impressed by the printer, very sharp details, and all that for 150€... I really have to experiment with modelling over the holidays).
Painted with TS26,29, several Aclad colours, Mr. Super Clear on top. Oh, and when you use the etched tank in the rear right, file a mm off at the bottom, because the cowling will be a very tight fit otherwise.
Hope you like it.

My first thought: "Ah! Marco's annual Martini car!"
I also got this kit recently, and I was impressed by the quality of this kit. But getting a great kit is one thing. Building it to a great model is the other. And you did it. Nice work!

Very nice work, as always. I’ll definitely use this as reference when I build my #8 Totip version.
Cheers,
Greg
