Re: Group 5 Group Build
I had a nice collection of Grp.5 build-ups that were stolen during a burglary last year. It's painful to think about but I guess it might be time to do another. I think there's a Capri in the stash somewhere..

Re: Group 5 Group Build
Hey Steve! I'm definitely not super picky here, so the Nissan or your phantom silhouette will work great!steveracer wrote:Not sure the regulations for this Group build, but count me in as a wildcard. Maybe vaporware, as summer is not my strong build time here in the Midwest USA. Therefore the easy way out would be this car in my stash.
So I guess it would have to be the Nissan?

Re: Group 5 Group Build
So sorry for your loss, Daryl. It's maddening to think the burglars likely thought of it as a diecast and have no idea of the work that went into them. If you want to start back up with the Capri, let us know!Daryl_Huhtala wrote:I had a nice collection of Grp.5 build-ups that were stolen during a burglary last year. Re: Group 5 Group Build
I just started a 1976 Kremer Porsche 934/935 using the Studio 27 transkit. Now if I can just figure out how to post photos here. LOL

Motivation to finish the Tamiya A442B I started YEARS ago. Though those kit decals must be shite by now. Give it a try anyway.

Re: Group 5 Group Build
Ford re-bodied the turbo Capris as Mustangs and ran them in the IMSA GT class and they were smart enough to bring Klaus Ludwig over to drive them. I'll do one using the Monogram kit.
