Hi all.

Very pleased to see Italeri re-issue this particular kit. Despite any inaccuracies listed, its reassuring to know that the basic bones of the kit are decent enough to warrant buying the kit in the first place.

All sorts are changes can be made to address any inaccuracies - look no further than Sean's superb rework of this kit on Facebook which has been mentioned earlier. If ever there was anyone capable of providing all the inspiration needed to attack this kit, Sean has easily provided that impetus.

I look forward to seeing reviews of this kit once it actually arrives. It will be interesting to view the kit contents and plan for any correctional work required.

Cheers, Paul

:D Nice point Paul
Oh and surely if someone has more ideas for projects that can be done with this car, don’t be shy

Well said Paul, I received the kit and I've said it already, happy to finally get my hands on one of these, it's a good base to start.

+1

It will be really interesting to see how well it sells and if it sells quickly maybe Italeri might reissue with some improved parts.

In the UK I see Hiroboy have already sold all their stock.

Excellent to see!

A predominantly aviation specialist over here called Hannants are also listing this release, as well as the L78. Hopefully Italeri are spreading the word!!

Regards

Hugo

While I echo your sentiments on how glad I am that Italieri is reissuing this kit, I'm really not expecting the Protar examples to come down in price much. The Protar kits will be seen as the "collectible" example while the Italieri will purchased for building. Sure the demand will slacken on the Protars but they'll still demand a premium compared to the reissue.

Just my two cents.

Yes Paul, but anyone that wants the car just for building it (which theoretically is the default option) will not care and happily will buy the new one.
Honestly you are right as some still try to sell old Protars of which there are reissues as Alfa and 26C2 at rocketing prices. :D

Hi

Need some help from someone with the italeri kit.

Could I please request a picture of the instructions containing the kit number, sprue and italeri item numbers?

I have an old protar kit and need to order some replacement sprues from Italeri and they require the part details.

Thanks

Chris
