Cooling system installed. Along with engine air box. Not pictured are some more engine mounts that I've also added.
Also got the rest of the cockpit done. It could use a few switches but I don't have any or no how to make them so I'm fine with it.
I finally got all the body parts prepped and primed. I'll shoot some white tomorrow. Need to decant some more first though will do that tonight hopefully. The main build is almost wrapped up with just the body taking the majority of the work. Monocoque and wheels may go on tomorrow.

Body is painted white. Came out pretty good actually. I'll let that sit a few days and get the Ral red painted.
Joined the monocoque to the rest of the floorpan. Just have a few wires to secure and it'll be basically complete. I did add the front tires and it almost sits completely level. I haven't glued the rear suspension though so that may even if all out. Either way one front wheel is just barely off the ground so it's really not that noticeable.

Re: Beemax MP4/2 w detail set
Thanks all!
They've pushed back my club meeting contest to the 18th. This is a bummer to me since I've got Cleveland Browns tickets that day and won't be attending the club contest I was building this for. So now I've got till Nov 1st to have it done for our big annual contest.
I may change drivers too now. I was doing it as Prost since our contest theme was French but now I may switch. Not sure yet.
Anyway back to work. Thanks for the kind words again!

Test fitting the body again now that it has paint. Fit is snug but perfect. Also put the endplates on the front wing. It's done waiting for decals. I think I may make this Lauda's car. Still haven't decided.
In the process of painting the replacement rear wing endplates. Once I get the white on ill mask the body and finish with the fluo red.

The dash, engine area, and CF decals look great! This is really coming along. A beautiful car.
The blue plaid shorts look nice too. LOL
Thanks for sharing.
