f1m power at ELX (Spain) 2018 VI Contest, F1 special GP
f1m power at ELX (Spain) 2018 VI Contest, F1 special GP
Hey guys.
Image says it all....
Honestly I forgot to warn fellow members at f1m (specially those who are close) but this does not mean f1m was short of representation there...
Anyway, as it's not usual that a cntest makes the effort of putting their attention to f1, the occasion was worth an effort, and certain member undusted some started-and-never-finished cars, to put f1m name high within the ranks.
Here's the models registering table...
the patient AIME stuff had to write some F1 type name, ahem...
Soon there'll be more info at AIME's Facebook apge, I supose.
Meanwhile, some pics...
There were true gems, the RBR was awesome.
And then the f1m representation, easy to see, the ones with light brown bases
There'll be more pics soon
Thanks for watching
J

Well done James, great to see all those Sapito models
Re: f1m power at ELX (Spain) 2018 VI Contest, F1 special GP
Thanks guys!
Yes they were my builds, DC! Honestly it was a flat out effort that took some six weeks, which makes two models a week.
Yes I had the bodies painted and decalled but I had to make all the rear trains, tyres, front suspensions, drivers, helmets....
It was big fun, really, and I want more, far from having ended tired.
Also I wrote down some ideas to make build easier and so on, though frankly they gave me few problems.
More pics will follow, glad you liked them guys, thanks a lot!

Thanks, Jeep and Chris
Starr, not a few, just one: the Copersucar F6A. The rest are ATS.
I'll offer more pics soon with the models at home already.
Thanks for watching.
It's great when you see a good bunch of F1 models at a contest/exhibition, something less than usual here in Spain, and that's mainly what I intended.
No competition, just showing them so people might get hooked in building theirs.
Ah! the F6A was in fact built quite a few years ago, something like 4.
Then the Lotus 81 and the Alfa are not that new either, they are of 200 harvest
