Newman Haas 1989 Lola, Amt, 1/25
Hi,
I finished my 4th Indycar model for the year, Mario Andrettis 1989 Newman Haas Lola... sort of, so rivetcounters please go away, nothing for you to see, here
This is originally the Amway Lola Cosworth kit, but I didn't like that paintjob, so I got myself Marios livery from Indycals. The Newman Haas had a Chevy engine, but if you have the cowling on the car, only the position of the pop off valve shows this, so I can live with that. Theoretically this kit should be the 89 Lola, but I read that some kits have the 88 lola in the box, and I think this is one of them. Also the car was changed in details during the month of may in 89 (rear wing endplates white or black, nosetip white or red)... therefore I just declare this to be a museum car, and as such it's still closer to the truth than the alleged 93 Lola in the museum in Sinsheim/Germany (and 1/3rd of their F1 cars...)
Painted with TS26 and 14, TS8 for the roll hoop. I added belts and some aluminium foil on the rear, Indycar decals, everything else is from the box.
Hope you like it anyway.

Great job as usual Marco. I have the same with the older kit in the newer box...oh well and this was the one I decided to build. Have the decals already so now seeing your build I may bring mine to the top of the list.

Lovely work Marco. I built the Luyendyk Provimi version a few months ago and had all sorts of problems. Especially given the "quality" of this kit you're made a stunner.

Thanks all
Sorry, but as I said, it's the wrong engine anyway, so while I built it properly, I did not do any detailing etc...Any images of the engine bay?
