Lotus team manager figure
I am doing an OK (at least by my limited standards) build of the 1:12 Lotus 78. I took a small break from the car to make the Tamiya "team manager" into a "sorta" Colin Chapman.. I like these old diorama figures- they are a bit crude by current standards but they have character and respond well to a bit of paint.
Best,
Howard

Excellent job!
But... the way he's positioned, it looks like he's admonishing the engine for being too heavy...

I think he looks great Howard. I have quite a few of these old Tamiya figures and look forward to the day when I build a dio using them. Yours looks fantastic!!!

Re: Lotus team manager figure
You have done a superb job. But the figures are very bad compared to 2014 standard. Figures are really a subject where the old 70'ties figures looks stiff and "crude" compared to todays standard.

Nice work Howard. Good ol' fashioned model making, modest base subject and a well executed paint job.
