If I may ask: what finish/technique did you use on the rear wing - looks sublime!

Well i didn't do anything special just polishing the white metal with a dremel tool and alternatively i use 600 sanding paper, repolishing with dremel...3 times and then a good clear coat on top of it to keep the shine.

Like tommy, I too wish someone would make "shovel nose" March kits like this, in plastic. You've done a great job!

Great work on the March!! I do like this car, and yours looks fantastic. The added details, really bring it to life. I see March adhered to the old adage, "If you can't duck it, !@#$ it."

How is the S27 engine and transmission? I've only ever built curbside kits from S27, and I wonder about their engine accuracy and detail.

Well the motor and the gearbox are quite ok, quite basic, i also didn't add many details, most of the time Studio 27 is providing modified parts of the Tamiya kits, but here the engine block is a resin part, awfully molded, but you don't see much on the finished model. It is completely different to MFH, no comparison in my mind, the level of details is closer to Wolf/Ace models...with some inaccuracies. I have also an Orange House kit of the March, the shape of the parts is rougher and needs way more cleaning, it is quite comparablen terms of accuracy with the Studio 27 kit.

Still i would love to see a plastic kit version of the 761

Aaah, good stuff - thanks for the feedback! Thought it was painted and was wondering what paint was used. Bare metal is best replicated by... bare metal, eh!
