Hi Jean paul,
It's always a pleasure to following your works, I learn a lot every time you did some modification., and this one is special for me, Emerson is the driver that makes me love F1.
Good work on that and looking forward for the next step.

Cheers
Antonio

Thanks Antonio, I really appreciate.

James, I am using a Mattel Vac-U-Form machine which was upgraded by "isthatlegal" from EBay if I remember well.
The polystyrene sheet is 0.5mm thick (0.02 inch).

And avarage heating time for that result? I know it's trial and error, but just to fix ideas ;-) THX!

James, my styrene sheets come from this seller. Something important is that these clear sheets are covered both sides with a protection that you have to remove before use.

http://www.ebay.fr/itm/361010541878?ssP ... 1438.l2649

Heating times? Let you machine heat 10 mn with the cover at the beginning. Then, if you take care of keeping hot the plate, the sheet could melt within a minute. Check frequently, it is not fun when styrene reaches the heating mlate.....

Today is decals day !!!!
Not a lot of fun because these decals are rigid and don't stick well... Not an easy and perfect work but i have a spare decal sheet which will be very useful!
This kit has big troubles with symetry. I thought i fixed most of them but decals reveal there are still some...
