Howard,
That looks like it needs some further persuasion with a hair dryer, but the best person to ask for advice is Michael at Indycals. I'm not sure Michael recommends additional heat on his decals other than using warm water for soaking/release from the backing sheet.

I have tried Micro Sol, which helped a little. Any thoughts? I should probably have painted the white, right? I suspect another visit to Indycals is in my future..
I don't recommend Micro Sol - it is not strong enough for my decals. I recommend Solvaset. And yes, I also recommend painting the white
I have wrestled with the exhausts and mated engine and rear suspension. Also shown is a comparison between kit supplied front tire (on right) and newer version that comes with the Lotus 79 re-release. The wheels are the same, but a little paint can do wonders. The wheel on the left has the center painted with TS21 gold and then brushed with a layer of X-19 smoke straight from the jar.
Done (enough). Not a contest winner but better than my earlier attempt. Happier with the color, like the way the newer tires look. Also my building is a little better when I know this forum will be looking. I may (or may not) get around to doing more than these Iphone pix
