Hi all!
This is the last chapter and starts in the best possible way
Wedding bells, wedding march...
JUST MARRIED!!!
Time to check ride height:
Radiators in place. I sanded front ones to simulate a mesh because they are way ahead on the chassis.
The last missing detail was the rain light. I made a bloob with clear sprue and rotary tool. No triangle PE piece to simulate original mounting so I put it on the gearbox directly
Not the best paintjob, I hate painting!!! I wish Bandai make F1 models like gunplas
READY TO RUN!!!
All connections are done. Some color/attachment licenses, out of scale items and wires connected to nowhere
Rainlight
Aero devices
Cowling in place. I doubled Texaco decal because dayglo was bleeding
Airbox in place. Metal foil to simulate original plate, not the best solution but it holds the airbox and do the job very well. Made a shoulder rest with scrap plastic covered with metal foil, then flat black and then corners are sanded.
Sideskirts by Tamiya... better than nothing... Will go to the bin If they tear-off. Fron wheels nuts are drilled to give them some depth, needs a wash.
Rear wing
And thats all !!!
Last touch-ups and she will go to the photo session of Completed Projects.
Thank you so much for all the encouragement, without your help I wouldnt have tried many things.
Now it's time to release some built up stress
THANKS FOR WATCHING !!!
