Probably a newbie question, but I'm working on an MP4/13 and after painting and clearcoating, I managed to go through the clearcoat/paint to the primer in a few small spots. With acrylics, I've used a paint brush to do touchups fairly successfully, but know there are some issues with metallics.
Is my best bet just to mask and paint then clear coat over it, or are there any tricks for hand brushing I should try to expediate it? The paint I'm using is Gravity Colors over Duplicolor primer, and the clearcoat is Mr. Super Clear gloss coat.
Anyway to touch up metallic paint without airbrushing?

You might find that it's worth the effort to air brush it - I had a similar situation on a recent build - just go light and easy - it will look better than brushing.
