Just noticed that my Tamiya 1/20 MP4/4 kit doesn't have any M@r!b*r* Decals.
Tobacco advertising in F1 was banned from 2006, and I have seen images of Prost's and Senna's cars in 88 bearing the M@r!b*r* sponsorship. I assume then that the omission was by Tamiya.
Correct? If so, what would be a better set of decals to purchase for this kit?

Hi pbrowne,
Tabu Design have a set of full sponsorship decals you need in 1:20 scale. A quick Google search indicates they available at spot model.

Yes, our governments want to protect us kids from those pesky cigarettes
You have to buy these decals extra because of that.
There are numerous choices of decal sets either with just the missing m* scripts or full sets with everything on them.
BNA model world currently doesn't have any in stock. I'm not sure what other options you have in Australia.
HobbyEasy in HongKong might be your best option at the moment: https://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/page/advan ... esult.html
Look for brands Tabu Design, Studio27 or Shunko.

I found the Tabu Design set (20015B) on Hobby Easy, cheaper than the EURO price on Spot Model

Question. The above link states 'Fuji'. I assume this is Fujimi, not Fuji track in Japan as the '88 race was held at Suzuka (that is the race I want for this car - with wets I've decided). If the decals are for Fujimi, and the same product number as the set on Spot Model, is it OK for Tamiya?

Sure. A wrong word won’t change a decal. There’s no Fujimi 4/4 kit. They simply mistook Fuji and Suzuka, nothing important

The Tamiya kit can be made to correctly represent the car that Prost drove in the British GP, using the non tobacco markings, if that helps.
