Oh dear, I only noticed this now... You are right they have the Michelin lines (like the Tamiya 312T3 etc.)

Even grasping the whole thing, I dont see a bi reason not to like original Tamiya tyres, but....
for some details. They LACK the markings that should be there, the ones saying "not for road use" and dimensions.
On the other hand, I´ve been surprised with close pics showing that tyres supposed to be WITHOUT any GY letters raised detail, well ahem they had.
Anyway it´s true that the Tamiya rubber does not age quite well.
Yes, go for the available fellow f1m´r replacement. A certain Icon

I assume the raised letters are just tyre details between GOODYEAR and EAGLE...JamesB wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 7:57 am Even grasping the whole thing, I dont see a bi reason not to like original Tamiya tyres, but....

Looking at the Tamiya tyres again, they will be fine I guess. Though I would prefer a set of wets for Senna 1988 Sujuka... But at US$40 for shipping it's a bit of a stretch...
