If again you look my first post, this started almost 30 years (damn!!! :shock: :shock: :shock: :cry: :cry: :roll: :lol: ) ago. There was no Fujimi kit at that moment :wink: :D
But yes, this one and Ferrari 639 into 641/2 were the the two most sensibe and straightforward transformations that were at reach.
I started both. The Ferrari had a relatively successful result, the McLaren got stalled at some point :D

Aha, in that case, I must say I like your dedication to finishing models!
It may take a long time, but it will be finished! Very good!

Hmmm time to take this one on again :D
The loose adjustment between body and chassis of big Protars made me think of this one again so there I go

Hi James,

I like the way you treat your models. You started something and do not want to abandon it.

I always doubt Fujimi kits' dimensions. Their Ferrari 330 and Porsche 917 have quite wrong dimensions. These cars are readily available for correct measurements. A lot of measurements of models in the past are just estimated from photos, especially for F1 cars, as they were not allow to measure the actual car.

Well, I am eager to see your progress on this MP4/5 kit.
